Nusrat Sharifi's letter from Mashhad to ʻAliyah Mashayikhi, along with its envelope. It reads: "Dear sister, I hope you are doing well. We received your letter. Marriage contract between Fatimah Baygum Khanum, the daughter of Mirza Jan Mustawfi Hirati, and Muʼtaman al-Sultan Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi Hirati, the son of Mirza Muhammad Hirati. The mahr is 300 tumans, of which 100 tumans is the price of gold and jewelry, 100 tumans is the price of carpets, bedding, and copper dishes, 50 tumans is the price of a Qurʼan, and 50 tumans is the price of an Abyssinian slave.
